Caregiver (Senior/High Medical Needs) seeking Employment with an LMIA

As a compassionate, kind caregiver from Ireland, with nine years’ experience in home care and as a nursing aide, I am an excellent match for the position available. The following are the skills I have gained in my previous employments; • Knowledge and experience working with people with many medical conditions, both Chronic and Acute. Including but not limited to, Dementia, MS, ALS, Parkinson’s, Huntington’s, Renal failure, Diabetes. • Palliative care. • Knowledge of Peritoneal Dialysis and Hemodialysis • All levels of Personal care and grooming. • Trained to use most moving and handing aids and lifts. • First aid and CPR. (Canadian Red Cross) • Administration of medication. • Basic wound care and dressing. • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills. • A personable attitude. • Reliable and trustworthy. • Teamwork. Working with in and as part of a multidisciplinary team. I am always striving to maintain a client’s independence and dignity. While tending to their needs on an individual level. Available to live in or out, with an open work schedule to work days and nights and hold a current Canadian driving licence. I am willing to relocate anywhere for the right position. Also I can provide clean criminal background certificates for both my time in Canada and back in Ireland.
